Nail Swatch: The Gold and the Beautiful by Wet n' Wild Craze (25)

This is a random LE WnW polish that I picked up on my way home from work one day. I choose it for its name but also I thought it would work well for a nail art I wanted to try from youtube. I failed at the art but i love the color of this polish regardless. PS I took the shoot of the polish on my nails on day 2.

Review 5/10
Dry Speed: 2 points- Dries so fast I really didnt worry about it being messed up.
Application: 1 point- This is a metalic so there tends to be a swirly, its hard to discribe.
Price: 1 point- These were LE so I paid full price but that was like 2$.
Wear: 0 points- 2 days wear, not good.
Opaque: 1 point- Needed 2-3 coats to be opaque.

Until next time...

Nail Swatch: Mommy Kissing Santa by China Glaze (24)

I got this in a set with a few others. I love how metalic it is but I hate the streaks that can come with metalics like this. It reminds me of a chirstmas ornament. I used this for the first time on a client's pedicure. She loved it. It was so close to christmas when I did her toes that afterwards everyone wo came in that night wanted that color.

Review 8/10

Dry Speed: 2 points- Dried really easy for me.
Application: 1 point- I kept getting streaks, but that was because of the type of polish it was.
Price: 2 points- Got this on sale not sure how much it was exactly but the set was 10-15$.
Wear: 1 point-  lasted 4 days, good but not amazing.
Opaque: 2 points- Good after one coat but wasn't happy bout the streaks.

Until next time...

Nail Swatch: 416A by Wet n' Wild (23)

This is another of my first polishes. this first time i used this polish was to paint my grandma's dog Teddy's toe nails on her front paws. She wasn't happy but she didn't get up and move either. My grandma was surprised that she let me do it because Teddy didn't like her paws touched like most dogs.

Review 7/10
Dry Speed: 1 point- Dried normal.
Application: 1 points- Was a little thick, most likely because of age.
Price: 2 points- One of my first polishes and I really can't remember the price.
Wear: 1 point- 3 days wear, not bad for ancient polish.
Opaque: 2 points- One coat would have done it but im a 2 coats of polish kind of girl.

Until next time...

Haul: Nails and MAC

So this is a way old haul again.(Sry almost caught up) From early last month. I swear I love sally's, I can never stay out of there.
So I made a deal with myself that for every make-up product i used up I can replace it with a MAC one. I had used up all of a mascara so I went online and picked out the flase lashes and i went it got it at the store and just love it. Now the eye shadows just so happen to be right by the mascara and i could help but get one. I choose mylar, it's a satin. I wanted it for a  highlight because I don't have many.
Then I stopped at sally's and CosmoProf. I got so much I can't begin to think why I got it all other than I got grab happy. From CosmoProf I went in for just clear acrylic. I wanted to practice doing fake nails and walked by a sales table and got 3 more bottles of polish... like I needed those and some art shapes.

Then @ sally's I got the glitter to add fun to nails. Then found 2 nail art polishes on sale!

Until next time...

Nail Swatch: Pink Glitter by BonBon (22)

So once upon a time I loved BonBon's, I mean I still like them(great for throwing in ur bag on the run). They were so cute and little and cheap until I realized that a large bottle of NYC polish is cheaper and bigger. My teacher did notice this polish when I wore it though.
Review 4/10
Dry Speed: 2 points- Dried perfectly.
Application: 1 point- Hanging onto the top was a pain. But it went on smooth.
Price: 0 points- A dollar for so little product is not ok with me.
Wear: 0 points- It did not stand up to water and was gone the next day.
Opaque: 1 point- Had to put on three coats.

Until next time...

Haul: Nails and Make-up (pic heavy)

So this is way old and I have been lacking on posting my hauls. Mainly because I'm busting my butt at school so I can pass in 3 weeks. And now I am super behind on posting, so it may feel like im posting no stop for a few days trying to catch up a little

Anyways I got these at walgreens so I could use up a coupon I got. I saw that the HIP was BOGO 1/2 off. so I got 2 and this polish for like 5 bucks and some change.

Then I stopped at sally's and got some nail stuff. The wheels are for my polish/art and the brushes are cuz you can never have to many of those. and they are super pretty. I also picked up so Dr G's clear nail. I was using it like it said to for like 3 weeks and then i forgot about it with all this stuff going on with my accedent and stuff like that. Going to get back on the ball. If you wondering I smashed my thumb in a door when i was 2 and it was never the same. Its super ugly. I was told to use this until it was all gone and my nail should be back to normal. I'll let you know how that goes.

Until next time...

Nail Swatch: Buckley by Icing (21)

I got this as a gift. It was a few years ago, but sat on my shelf and then all this craze came out about nude polish. This was sitting twiddling its thumbs (figuratively speaking)  waiting for the day i used it for more than just as a paper weight.
Review 6/10
Dry Speed: 2 points- Dried fast and I was able to do my daily functions without any waiting time.
Application: 1 point- Found it to be streaky. The brush was a little long for my personal prefrence.
Price: 2 points- It was a gift, can't beat that :)
Wear: 0 points- Only 2 days wear, before it chipped
Opaque: 1 point- streaky but resolved with a 2nd coat.

Until next time...
