Day 69- Sinful Colors in Neon Melon (63)

Ahh Neons! The staples of summer! I love neons, hate how sheer most are. This is part of a limited edition collection that was released for the summer for the past few years.
Total: 8/10
Dry Speed: 2 points- Like most of the neons by Sinful Colors, this color dries super fast.
Price: 2 points- I picked this bad boy up when they were having a .99 cent sale.
Application: 2 point- I can always depend on sinful colors to have great brushes. Plus the formula was smooth and applies cleanly.
Wear: 1 point- I had some minor chipping after 24 hours but it survived its encounter with water.
Opaque: 1 point- This is great if your are trying to create outer space nail art but by itself it needs a base color to make it solid.
Until next time lovelies!

MAC Haul

So I found out MAC had released a beautiful summer collection called Temperature Rising. I saw they had two beautiful quads and I had called ahead to have them put aside for me. Unfortunately I live in the barracks and haven't been able to get my car yet. So getting a taxi can be a bit pricey and time consuming. I got there a day late. MAC had sold the palette set aside for me. Oh well I guess it wasn't meant to be. Ill just  move into what I did snag. I got Hot Night blush and Temperature Rising eye shadow quad. Below are pictures of the products.

Day 70- China Glaze in Unplugged (62)

At one point my mother was very sick she had been in the hospital for 2 weeks and they couldn't figure out what was wrong with her. At one point they thought it was colon cancer. When I found out about the collection that China Glaze released and how the proceeds would go to cancer research. Each color in the collection represented a different type of cancer. Unplugged was for colon cancer. So I made sure to find one of these. I found this in the clearance bin at my local beauty store. So of course it had to go home with me, in my mind I felt that I was going to help find a cure for my mother. Luckily we found out that she didn't have cancer.
Total:8 /10
Dry Speed: 1 point- The top dried really well but the formula is a bit thick and so it took longer for the layer under it to dry.
Application: 1 point- China Glaze has a great brush but since the formula was think it was hard to get just the right amount on the brush. It was either to much or completely dry.
Price: 2 points- China Glaze is a mid priced polish of about $7 but I was able to get it for 4.25.
Wear: 2 points- It survived my shower and gave enough strength to my weak nails to keep them from breaking at the current length.
Opaque: 2 points- solid in a single coat but I did two as always.
Until next time beauty queen!
